Highlights of Trang
Tam Lay Khao Kob (Khao Kop Cave)
A thrilling cave adventure where visitors lie flat on the boat to pass through the narrow “Dragon Belly Cave.” This water cave system winds around the mountain with several chambers to explore, including the Bride Cave, Banyan Root Cave, and Gandharva Cave. Total exploration distance is approximately 4 km.
Wang Thep Tharo
A 25-rai learning center created by local artist Mr. Jaroon Kaewlard. This botanical sanctuary conserves the rare “Thep Tharo” (Cinnamomum porrectum), known locally as “Juang” or “Juang Hom.” The site features 89 dragon sculptures made entirely from Thep Tharo wood.
Emerald Cave, Koh Mook
One of Trang’s most iconic landmarks. Accessible only by swimming through an 80-meter-long sea tunnel, the sunlight reflecting inside creates a sparkling emerald glow—an unforgettable experience.
Koh Kradan
Awarded “Best Beach in the World 2023.” Powdery white sand, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and vibrant coral reefs make this island the crown jewel of Trang Sea.
Koh Chuak
A small untouched island within Hat Chao Mai National Park. Known for colorful soft corals, healthy hard corals, and abundant marine life—perfect for snorkeling.
Kantang Railway Station
The last station on the Andaman line. This century-old wooden station preserves authentic architecture and historic charm.
Itinerary
Day 1: Khao Kop Cave – Wang Thep Tharo – Trang City
Upon arrival at Trang Airport, our Peka Tour staff will warmly welcome your group.
If arriving in the morning, enjoy a local breakfast—fresh dim sum and the famous Trang roasted pork—a must-try dish of the province.
Khao Kop Cave, Huai Yot District
Take a flat-bottomed boat into the mystical cave system. Discover the Gandharva Cave, Banyan Root Cave, Grand Hall Chamber, and the iconic Dragon Belly tunnel—350 meters long and the longest water cave passage in Thailand.
12:30 – Enjoy a local Thai lunch.
13:30 – Visit the local OTOP center featuring Thep Tharo woodcarvings.
Return to Trang city.
15:00 – Check-in at Rua Rasada Hotel. Relax at leisure.
17:00 – Explore the city on Trang’s iconic “Frog-Head Tuk Tuk” and visit top photo spots.
18:00 – Dinner and return to the hotel.
Day 2: Trang Island Hopping – Emerald Cave – Koh Kradan – Koh Chuak
07:00 – Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
08:30 – Depart to Pak Meng Pier (approx. 45 minutes).
Board a private long-tail boat to Emerald Cave, one of Thailand’s most famous natural wonders. Swim through the 80-meter sea tunnel to the hidden lagoon—an unforgettable experience.
Continue to Koh Kradan, one of the world’s most beautiful beaches. Enjoy swimming, relaxing, and snorkeling over shallow coral reefs teeming with marine life.
12:00 – Buffet lunch on board.
After lunch, visit Koh Chuak, a small island rich with colorful soft corals, hard corals, and countless fish.
16:00 – Return to Pak Meng Pier.
17:00 – Freshen up and enjoy a beautiful seaside sunset.
18:00 – Dinner at Ban Suan Sudaporn Restaurant.
Return to the hotel and rest at leisure.
Day 3: Check-Out – Kantang Old Town – Trang Airport
07:00 – Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until check-out.
09:00 – Check-out and depart with your guide.
10:00 – Visit Kantang Old Town, Kantang Railway Station, and Phraya Ratsadanupradit Museum (honoring the governor who introduced Thailand’s first rubber tree).
12:00 – Lunch.
13:00 – Transfer to Trang Airport.
16:25 – Safely arrive back in Bangkok.
End of the unforgettable Trang Island Adventure.
